OLLY ALEXANDER

High-Contrast Geometrics

Shiny Dot built a stark, futuristic backdrop for Olly Alexander's ‘Cupid's Bow’. A monochrome world of light and geometry unfolded across the screen, working in a tightly controlled palette of black, white and red that aligned with the costumes and lighting. Vertical beams formed shifting geometric patterns that moved into a perspective tunnel, precisely framing the choreography at the centre of the stage. Key lyrics appeared at monumental scale in blocky, glitch-driven typography, punctuating the performance.

As the track built, the graphics fractured into glitching blocks, creating a sharp, beatmapped visual language that echoed the precision of the staging. Sharp, high-contrast design grounded in light, geometry and detail.
