BIG NIGHT OF MUSICALS

Big Night of Musicals is an annual arena show celebrating major UK musical theatre, featuring performances from West End and touring productions. Hosted by Jason Manford, it is held at Manchester Arena and broadcast on BBC One.

Shiny Dot delivered the visual package for the 2025 and 2026 editions, including the logo, title sting, lower thirds, house looks, and key stage screen content.

For the 2026 show, Shiny Dot created bespoke stage visuals for a selection of performances, adapting each production's visual identity for the arena. For Annie, a detailed orphanage environment extended the physical set across the stage screen. The Choir of Man was framed by a series of warm, stained-glass windows that echoed its pub setting.

For Sunny Afternoon, a bold, graphic aesthetic featured a wall of analogue speakers to amplify the performance. For The Producers, classic Broadway iconography took centre stage, with illuminated marquee typography, proscenium framing and curtain reveals recreating the language of theatre at scale.
